When you're stuck at home, you like to challenge yourself and stay busy! Well, I decided to challenge myself to make a book out of my daughter's lovely sketch entitled Smiley Toast!
That's how the Toasty Friends and the Adventures of Smiley Toast was born! Write your own story by cutting out the 9 original characters and putting them on the 20 different backgrounds. Then write a caption to explain the story being showed in the page. Smiley Toast and his friends will avoid the Scribble Monster and journey from spooky houses to deep forests and outer space! I've been drawing again! Check out the 4th chapter in the saga of Rod Carson! He's back to street racing, but the girls in his life are causing a bit of distraction. Can he earn enough money to get himself out of debt?
The book is done...
All that remained was the cover. Now it has a cover and you can get your own copy of book 1 of the Heartfire Saga! This 6x9 trade paperback is about 230 pages, so it's a nice read over an evening or two. Book 2 should be out next spring.
My latest graphic adventure is available! Sketched and inked and painted, this one is a great piece of science fiction. A mysterious crystal falls onto a dying world. What will happen when one man fights to cross the continent to get to it?
![]() My latest book was inspired by my 2-year old. We were putting away rocks from our rock collection, and I told her that the rocks had to go 'night night.' She repeated this a few times, and it got me to thinking about what a rock might actually do during its life. This is the first book I've written with 2-4 year olds specifically in mind. Hope it works as a bedtime story for your little ones. :)
